Generation XX Magazine

Generation XX is a publication I made to submit for ISTD’s 2020 competition which required me to design a typographic piece revolving around the theme ‘migration.’ I chose to take this theme into a more abstract realm by looking at the migration of the Feminist movement throughout history. The publication has four parts and moves through a timeline that spans from the Salem Witch Trials to present day. The publication features; short stories, speeches, articles, statistics, along with short witty articles written by me to compliment the bright and colourful aesthetic of the publication. The publication is an attempt to make heavy and prevalent issues in society more digestible and approachable whilst tackling topics such as misandry, misogyny and everything in between. I was awarded a pass and membership to the International Society of Typographic Designers for this submission.
